I heard there was a scheme to Recycle broken electrical goods.  Where domestic electrical goods are either fixed, their components used or materials recycled.  Does anyone know anything about this?

I think the Sumac Centre are having a workshop on repairing electrical items as part of their upcoming skillshares programme but I've not heard about a recycling project. Be interested to find out though as it seems much needed

Family First has been declared a centre of excellence for its furniture recycling services. It does take electrical items. I haven't found any details about repairs but they would have to have electrical items checked before reuse. Might be worth looking at.
